Thanksgiving, the time of giving thanks. The holiday named for giving thanks. The day that is for giving thanks. While the first Thanksgiving's true story is not nice, I still celebrate it because it is nice to slow down and count your blessings. And to eat tons of food. And drink some.
This seems like a good time to try to enumerate some of the blessings I have.
1. Friends,
Seriously, y'all are amazing. Marley, Stephanie, Ellen, Annie, Erika, Maria, Erica, Rachel, and the rest too numerous to note here: Thank. You are all AWESOME and supportive and really cool people. You all have helped me strive to better myself and have helped form the person I am today. Y'all are the best, are don't let anyone get you down.
2. Teachers.
I've already said it before, but the teachers at my school are amazing at their jobs, and I honestly can't say I've had a nightmare teacher (in high school). Sure, others were better than the rest, but this is a shout out to all of my teachers for excelling in their jobs. I never felt as if a teacher at our school just did the bare minimum, and they teach well. So, I'm thankful for that.
3. Etc.
My family. Being in a first world country, Having Internet access. Having the freedom to posts my thoughts. Having steady food, shelter, and other privileges others do not have. Having the ability to try and make that change.
